Out here on the west coast, it’s just you and millions of fish.

The Queen Charlotte Islands lie just south of Alaska and are in the path of millions of migrating salmon as they thunder down the British Columbia coast.

The inlet provides the MV Salmon Seeker’s sheltered home base, giving you un-rivalled access to these incredible fishing grounds. The area is so remote that the only other boats you’ll see on these waters are other MV Salmon Seeker guests.

The continental shelf is only a few miles offshore from Kano Inlet, creating a narrow corridor for salmon as they avoid the deeper waters of the open ocean. The abundance of herring in the water and the number of different migrating runs of salmon mean that from June through September there is an abundance of actively feeding salmon.

Queen Charlotte Islands salmon fishing is often called “Extreme Fishing” due to the remote location, breathtaking scenery and consistently strong halibut and salmon fishing.

The MV Salmon Seeker is in the heart of it all; it’s the last great fishing frontier.
