Weather-wise, today was the best fishing day so far this season with light NW winds. Bottom fishing was productive in these conditions with many large halibut being landed. A 165 lb fish conferred Masterfisherman status on Dave Lozinski. Chinook in the mid twenties are still the norm with a couple of 32 pounders currently in the lead for the trip 2 trophy. Captain Ian
