A beautiful day in the QCI
MV Salmon Seeker - June 30, 2007We had great weather today at Kano Inlet. Calm winds and smooth seas were a real delight for our guests. This was combined with two good slack waters which gave our guests two windows each of two hours to achieve some great fishing results.
This paid off in quality and quantity despite the fact that Walter, the sea lion, was around our boats and took three of our guests’ fish. The top results: a 37 lb. Chinook caught by Sandy Lup, a 148 lb. halibut caught by Gerald Albert. Not to mention dozens of other nice Chinook and hali as well as some Coho and bottom fish.
