The first day of the new season for our guests saw action right from the start. After a short flight across the Queen Charlotte Islands, viewing the breathtaking scenery, guests were out on the water and ready to fish in record time.
In the calm seas and light winds, action hit every boat. As one guest said ‘You’d think the fish would wait more than 5 seconds before hitting my hook!”. Even the most experienced guides remarked on the level of the catch for a first afternoon, the best in memory. Eight of the dozens of fish caught in the first couple of hours were over thirty pounds!
At the end of the day, the feeling aboard is summed up as “How early can we start tomorrow?”
