It was another good fishing day here in Kano Sound with guests on their last day getting some really great fish up to 40 lbs. A lot of happy faces as they watched the freight plane headed out with their fish at the end of a very satisfactory trip.
New guests today were on the water as quick as it takes to don their fishing gear and brought in some very handsome Coho, Chinook and a halibut or two, catching and releasing many others.
The fishing area was lively today with visits from a pod of orcas and our resident humpback whale: makes for a great sight when seen at water level from a boat!
