BC Fishing Report

MV Salmon Seeker - July 28, 2006

These Reel Reports are meant to give you a taste of what to expect if you join us for an unforgettable fishing experience. I may sound biased when I talk about Kano Inlet and what it offers — abundance of various spices of fish, wild life, and scenery — but having been here for six seasons, I can vouch that every day feels like a new experience.

Now, let's talk fish…

The competition for the largest salmon is still going strong. Today, Scott MacDonald caught another large Chinook, this one weighed 40 lbs. Then Kathy Papola from California landed a 45 lb Chinook. When I asked how many guests are going fishing tomorrow (changeover day) there was no question that everyone wanted to chase that top Chinook trophy.

It was a great day for all types of fishing and our flash freezer completely full.
