Fantastic in the inlet
MV Salmon Seeker - June 27, 2007
Our departing group had some fantastic fishing as well as some calm sunny weather and although our fishing today was once again limited to inside the inlet, salmon are still plentiful in the Tee range.
Biggest today was a 42 lb. Chinook brought home by Bill Hague.
Huge amounts of bait have moved in and brought the salmon along with them. As a result, guests are again opting for catch and release since getting your limit of Chinook is just not a problem at the MV Salmon Seeker. Currently you can achieve that in a couple of hours and take the rest of the week off!
Halibut will probably be targeted tomorrow as the seas flatten out and on Thursday we may even see some sunshine as the winds move around to the north.
Happy days and happy guests at Kano Inlet in the beautiful Queen Charlotte Islands.
