Great fishing continues in the Charlottes

Queen Charlotte Islands Fishing Resorts - June 20, 2003

It's been a typical June in the Queen Charlotte Islands - shorts one day, rain suits and toques the next. But through the inconsistent weather that is famous in these islands, the epic fishing battles continue. At Langara Island on the MV Charlotte Princess and MV Marabell, salmon are averaging 20-35 lbs with a plenty of bigger ones hitting the docks. Guests are returning to the resorts with happy grins, full fish boxes and great stories. As one guest put it "it was without a doubt the best fishing trip I have ever been on. Quoting Bob Hope, thanks for the memories." At the MV Salmon Seeker, salmon are also averaging in the high twenties and low thirties. There have been plenty of hali's caught and some incredible summer seafood barbeques awaiting those at home!
