One always tends to convey the beauty of the area we are anchored in. Kano Inlet is one of the most picturesque areas that I have seen. Admiring this area every time I write my Reel Report comes naturally as I am overwhelmed by is natural beauty. For the last two reports, I did not do that as two of my very good friends, Fred and Jerry Mus told me that whenever I speak a lot about the scenery, I avoid speaking regarding the real fishing conditions. May that is true but it is not intended that way.
Having said that, I still say it was a gorgeous day today on the water; our guests were entertained by the passing of whales, sea lions, dolphins and eagles. Again, a lot of our fishing fleet returned relatively early as they had their daily and even trip limits.
The result was nine guests were awarded their Captain’s Club Status including:
Jerry Mus – 34 lb. Chinook
Gord Duff – 30 lb. Chinook
Capt. Zak Farid
Master. MV Salmon Seeker
Queen Charlotte Islands
