Kano Inlet Update
MV Salmon Seeker - August 1, 2006Among the current group of anglers plying the waters of Kano Inlet, there is a group of 23 guests from Arizona enjoying their own derby. As of day two, they’re doing pretty well.
Don Bennett has the largest Chinook so far at 37 ½ lbs, followed by a 33 ½ pounder caught by Wade Accomazzo. The largest Coho so far is a 14 ½ pounder caught by Scott Truitt.
All around it was a great fishing day with over 35 each of Chinook and Coho tipping the scales.
The weather forecast for tomorrow will be the same just like today; light to moderate westerlies and seas less than 3 feet. Is that a great forecast or what?
I just checked the wake up call for our guests, and they all range between 0400 and 0430. You can tell when anglers are having fun by checking the shake-sheet — they don’t want to miss a minute of fishing.
That’s all fom Givenchy Anchorage for now.
