Masterfisherman hat trick

There was some change in weather today but it is still good.
A bit of wind from the south east at 11 knots combined with some showers. I thought that this would prohibit our boats from going far outside Kano Inlet but they went as far as Marble Island and Freeman.
The result was a great day of fishing plus a new Masterfisherman award being presented.
Zack Mecham of Utah took top Chinook honours with a 37 pounder. Two-time Masterfisherman David Carver of Nevada was at it again and earned his third Masterfisherman award with a 141 lb. halibut!. Last season, David caught our season's best halibut: 281 lbs!
