MV Salmon Seeker - July 21, 2007Another day in paradise. We are really enjoying the good weather here in Kano Inlet. As we see the forecast for lower main land is not that good and we seem to be the envy of everybody with our calm winds and smooth seas.
MV Salmon Seeker anglers had a great day. About half of our boat caught their limits in the morning and came back to the ship for a delicious hot lunch. The other half of our guests decided to take advantage of yet another perfect day and filled their afternoon with catch and release.
We broke a couple of records today, bringing in 43 Chinook and 39 Coho. Peter Wiesse of Germany took both the top honours today, including one Masterfisherman catch. Peter brought home the top Chinook, a 37 pounder plus a 105 lb. halibut.
Jerome Ebner of South Carolina brought in a beautiful 16 lb. Coho salmon.
