Queen Charlottes Fish Report
MV Salmon Seeker - June 19, 2006The fish were awake and ready this morning for guests on the last day of trip #5. Deck crew were frantically cleaning today's catch right up until the plane departed.
Incoming guests took full advantage of a fresh run of fish and were out on the water for four hours. They netted 14 Chinook including a beautiful 35 pound Tyee.
A ridge of high pressure has finally decided to settle over the Queen Charlottes and we are looking forward to some light to moderate southerly winds. Just what the doctor ordered for stalking the salmon and hali holes around Kano Inlet.
