Queen Charlottes Fishing Update

MV Salmon Seeker - June 7, 2007

Today's weather started with light winds and 3 foot sea, according the forecast at Kindakun. Listening to the continuous marine forecast at 0400, it was 4 kts wind from the south, sea was ripples and some drizzle. As the day progressed, the rain stopped and the sun came out. What a magnificent sight with the sun rays shining on the trees in Kano Inlet.

Gary Sprague of Washington took today's top salmon, a 40 lb. Chinook. Top halibut honours were won by Bud Ward of California who caught an 82 lb. halibut.
