Recent trips to Kano Inlet have proved very productive for anglers. One guest reported that he and his fishing partner and guide brought 77 salmon to their boat in one day! And most were at least Tyee size. Talk about consistent action. Constant double headers are greeting guests in these waters and salmon are averaging 35-40 lbs. with some in the high 40's. There's also plenty of Coho in the area with the largest of the season weighing in at 13 lbs. We're also seeing some halibut slabs on the docks with some over 100 lbs. On a recent trip, guests were treated to a pod of Killer Whales circling the MV Salmon Seeker in the inlet. Great fishing and wildlife viewing all in one!
