MV Salmon Seeker - June 15, 2007
The MV Salmon Seeker went on her regular fuel run to Rennel Sound on Wednesday and our guests took the opportunity to tackle some sensational bottom fishing.
Three halibut over 100 lbs have been landed in the last two days, topped by Jack Baikowitz’s 242 lb monster. Jack has attained Master Fisherman status several times in the many years he has been coming to the Seeker but this one was the fish of a lifetime! At least until next year…
Chinook fishing remains steady although Bob Richardson’s 46 pounder is still the trip leader.
Weather is forecast to remain clear and sunny for the next couple of days before we see some north west winds.
