We three kings...
MV Salmon Seeker - July 6, 2006We are still enjoying some nice warm weather and clear skies coupled with north-westerly winds — ideal fishing weather for the lucky souls out here fishing the western Queen Charlottes.
The fish kept guests busy today, netting them 28 Chinook, 19 halis, plenty of bottom fish and a lone Coho; including three 30 lb Chinook caught by John Vanderlinden, Don Sweazey and Pierre Tuiry.
As for halibut fishing, Howard Wilson caught a 64 pounder while Richard Popovich took top top hali of the day, an 78 pounder.
Guests who chose not to fish today enjoyed a ride aboard the MV Salmon Seeker to Rennell Sound where the ship re-fuels every three weeks or so. They enjoyed the scenery and relaxation during this mini cruise, especially in this wonderful weather.
